San Francisco - Franklin Location
Too much fanfare, the San Francisco Klatch Coffee location on Franklin St. opened on April 15, 2019. The highly anticipated opening was received by fans of Klatch of the Bay Area. Klatch Coffee has developed this new location which will be the first of many in a partnership with Bay Area local, Bo Thiara.
Ample seating makes this location a great gathering place for friends, family and co-workers alike.
The locations boasts a varied food menu with items such as chia pudding, smoked salmon toast, and Klatch favorites such as nutella toast. The drink menu has the Klatch fan favorites such as cold brew and nitro cold brew or the all-time favorite, "capp on tap". The Franklin menu includes exclusive items such as the kombucha and CBD kombucha. House-made almond and cashew milk are an option for lattes, etc. which is one of many dairy alternatives available.
The decor itself boasts neutral colors that develop a clean overall look.
While Klatch Coffee remains based in Southern California - roasting out of Rancho Cucamonga - the coffee hails from different parts of the world. CEO/Roastmaster Mike Perry who founded Klatch Coffee over 25 years ago, travels many times throughout the year to different parts to find the best coffee sources. He only picks the top 1% of coffee beans to choose to roast. Roasting at Klatch Coffee is another part of the top tier quality approach. The coffee is roasted using the "Peak of Flavor" principle - a principle developed by Mike through his teachings of his mentors in addition to his own development based on his degree as a biochemical engineer major. With each step of the process, quality remains the top goal.

Part of the development of each menu item comes from years of experience in owning and operating cafes for over 25 years. Mike's daughters have learned the business over many many years and continue to re-develop the menu year after year, season after season.
