Fazenda Primavera is located in the Chapada de Minas, in Angelândia municipality, Minas Gerais, at the transition between biomes, with land and vegetation characteristic of both the Atlantic forest and the Cerrado. The farm’s elevations, between 1000 to 1050 meters above sea level, promote the cultivation of specialty coffee and the climate also provides favorable conditions with average temperatures between 20 and 24 °C annually and precipitation of 1,000 to 1,300 mm.

The Chapada de Minas is a small but beautiful region with stunning topography shaped by plateaus and river canyons in the Jequitinhona Valley. The flatter plateau areas promoted the mechanization of the region's coffee plantations. Coffee cultivation began in the 1870's, which brought significant economic benefit to the region by increasing employment opportunities. Among all coffee regions, this area is the most important for small producers and is essential to the local economy.

Fazenda Primavera has state of the art installations including a 24,000 m2 drying patio, 14 electric dryers, and equipment for processing Natural, Pulped Natural, Honey, and fully Washed coffees. The farm cultivates predominately Red and Yellow Catuai, plots of which are planted under the shade of African Mahogony trees. This lot is special because of its variety, preparation, and performance in cup quality contests. Gesha was first planted on Fazenda Primavera several years ago and carefully tended to ensure that the first harvests of cherries develop fully with adequate nutrition. Primavera’s team harvested this Gesha lot by hand, selecting for optimal ripeness and then processed the coffee as Pulped Natural by removing the cherry pulp from the bean but leaving some mucilage intact.
