Maximize your brew

Kris A. asked us, "I have the brew recipe but how do I make sure it turns out perfectly each time? I don't know where to start".

Kris, you're not the only one. Brewing coffee at one point was thought to be easy and straightforward. With improvements and developments over time we know there is a lot of weight to each parameter in the brewing process. From temperature and grind size, to water quality and time...(and more!) So we'll help you get started with 5 big tips.

Keep track

As you brew more and more you'll begin to find what works (and what doesn't) - that is, if you document it. It's memorable that day but how will you remember it tomorrow, or the next day? We suggest getting a journal and storing it near your coffee station. This way you can keep track of time, temperature, grind size, measurements and more. Keep in mind - what works for one coffee might not work for another coffee.

Clean it
