Let's begin by clearing up the most common mispronunciation of the word Espresso...It is NOT EXpresso. Once that is established, then you've already elevated your coffee wisdom 10 levels up!
Espresso is a small coffee beverage that is made by extracting near boiling water under high pressure infused through finely ground coffee. The result is an almost syrupy beverage. When brewed properly espresso will feature a dark golden "crema" on top.
Espresso is not a type of roast or bean, it is a type of coffee beverage and making a great espresso is an art!
