I learned much more in 3 days with Mike than I knew from 3 years of roasting on 4 home roasters, plus having read the main books.  Mike takes you from coffee plants to advanced cupping, blending, and more.  I'll probably never afford a moisture meter or advanced sample roaster, but learning how they work taught me a huge amount about the beans.  Mike's a born teacher.  He explains everything carefully and then puts you in charge under his supervision.  Whether you want to open a business or, like me, just want to improve your artisan home roasting skills, this is the course for you.  Worth every penny, and more!

Mike,

Thank you.  I can better understand the challenges of crop changes, and coffee's going out of season.  I am confident that we can accomplish what we need. I also thank you for your kind word, regarding me being in the top range of your students.  May be some day soon I will see you out and about the world picking great coffees.
