Our head Roastmaster, Mike Perry, is the founder and CEO of Klatch Coffee. He has combined his Chemical Engineering degree with the mentoring in the ways of coffee greats, such as Alred Peet and Carl Deidrich, in order achieve a balance of science and artistry that Klatch calls “Peak of Flavor."

Cindy is the calm presence that you often see behind the counter of the San Dimas store. She has been described by her daughters as the glue that holds the Klatch together and by her husband as the "better half." As the CFO, she handles all major financial needs and record-keeping.

Heather has fifteen years of experience in the coffee industry. She began her coffee career at the age of eleven by washing dishes and sweeping floors in her parent’s coffeehouse. By the age of fifteen, Heather was working behind the espresso machine and experimenting with different drinks. Since her first shot of espresso, Heather has continued to improve and hone her skills behind the bar. Heather holds many Barista titles including 2003 and 2007 U.S. Barista Champion, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 Western Barista Champion, 2007-2010 Ultimate Barista Champion and finished 2nd in the World at World Championships in Tokyo. Heather graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in International Business and Marketing.

Holly began sweeping beans behind the counter when she was 5 years old and has worked in the coffee industry ever since. Recently, she competed in a latte art competition and tied for first place for her twig and leaf latte art. Her favorite Klatch espresso is Sweet 16 and she favors Ethiopian coffee. She is currently attending Cal Poly Pomona for a BA in Hotel and Restaurant Management.

Emily began her career in the kitchen where she found her niche in instructing. She taught full-time at Riverside City College Culinary Academy and other organizations; Riverside County, UCR and Goodwin's Organic, among others. She is also active in local chapters of both Slow Food and the American Culinary Federations. Throughout her years as chef one of her greatest passions is coffee. Emily has a Bachelors' degree in Entomology from the University of Riverside.

Hailing from his hometown of Riverside, Shane came to the Klatch scene in 2009. Working towards a bachelor of Math Science at Cal State San Bernardino, he brings with him a scientific approach to the art of gourmet coffee roasting. You can find him hiking, running and mountain biking the rugged terrain of sunny Southern California.

Originally from the picturesque town of Vimnerby, Sweden, Helene is our friendly and helpful business manager. She has been in the retail industry for over 12 years and enjoys any type of coffee or espresso drink. She has been an avid Harley rider since she was 18.

Julie is our talented Marketing Specialist with a BA in Communication with a emphasis in Multimedia. She is currently attending the University of La Verne for an MBA in Marketing. Having been born and raised in Los Angeles, she is a dedicated Dodger fan and a avid museumgoer.

Liz has devoted her passion for coffee as a barista since 2007. Training alongside Heather Perry, conducting regular in-store cuppings, and working with both wholesale and retail customers has made her a well rounded coffee professional. Liz has traveled to El Salvador and Guatemala visiting Klatch's Direct Trade partners and learning firsthand the efforts of the farmer. Liz has competed in the Ultimate Barista Championships and recently won the Klatch in-store Latte Art Throw Down. Her progress is directly related to her passion for all things coffee.
