Our new Granja La Esperanza from Colombia offers a bright melon, peach, cocoa flavor with crisp berry and wine undertones that manifests into a creamy body with just the right amount of acidity. Granja La Esperanza is certified organic and Rain forest certified.
Nearly 100 years ago the Herrera family founded Finca Potosi in the Valle de Cauca region known as the "Coffee Belt of Colombia". Over the years the Herrera family acquired four additional farms. These five farms make up the Granja La Esperanza Coffee Project.
For many years, coffee grown at Finca Potosi was sold through the C-Market but ten years ago, in an effort to generate a better price for their specialty coffee, Finca Potosi converted to organic coffee production along with 34 hectars of Finca La Esperanza. The remaining hectars of Finca La Esperanza are used for Geisha production. The three remaining farms are in development of additional specialty coffee varieties.
