One of our most popular coffee returns to Klatch! And yes...It still packs the bowl of berries that everyone has come to expect, but with additional fruit nuances that might surprise you. It starts with a berry-chocolate aromatics that transcends into the cup with eye-popping flavors of stone fruit, lemonade and pomegranate. It also offers a mild and balanced acidity with a velvety, milk chocolate finish that will get you going back for more!

Ethiopia Yirgacheffe FTO Banko Dhadhato coffee is sourced from family-owned farms organized around the Banko Dhadhato Cooperative located in the village of Banko Dhadhato in the southern district of Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia. The Banko Dhadhato Cooperative was established in 2012 and currently has 177 members. In 2012, the cooperative joined the Yirgacheffe Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union (YCFCU), an umbrella organization established in 2002 to support a sustainable coffee supply from cooperatives in the Gedeo ethnic region of Ethiopia. There are twenty-six other cooperatives affiliated with the YCFCU totaling more than 35,000 members.

Superb Coffe May 21, 2016
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from San Francisco Bay Area
The coffee is stellar - wonderful flavor of slight sweetness and spice but overwhelmingly dark fruit with floral overtones (not it's coffee, not wine!).  The finish is dark chocolate with more fruit - almost like blueberry chocolate...  And! the service from Klatch is superb, stellar, wonderful!

Not up to Ethiopian standards April 21, 2016

This was the first disappointing coffee I have purchased from Klatch.
Out of the bag, ground and brewed it came across as strong and serious, but nothing else.  There is no depth or breadth in taste, no fruit, no syrupy taste or even the sparkling bite of what reminds me of new Beaujolais. My favorite coffees are from Africa, but this had no African character, and certainly nothing which reminded me of any Ethiopian I have drunk.  In the end it reminds me of a solid Brazilian bean: anonymous, plain, drinkable, but not desirable.

New Favorite November 23, 2015
Reviewer: Travis Hill from Boise, ID United States
I was surprised when I first tried this. I absolutely love Panama Elida, and this is similar in a lot of ways but different enough that it has become my new favorite for now!

If you like a "fruitier" flavor (again, to me, it is similar to the punch that Panama Elida Natural / Honey has, but brighter without tasting fake or cloying), this is a coffee you should definitely try.
